Re: Rain

The alarm on my cav just flashes the indicators and makes no noise usually. Its more considerate to the neighbours than i am  Every time the wind picks up a bit the cover comes off my cortina. It ended up with so much string over the top in every possible direction i thought it would never come...

Re: My SRi

I've only just noticed the reply to this  Sounds the same as the standard back box, with a nice little rumble under load. Not noisy at all and cant really tell its there unless your looking at it. But the reason i wanted it was for show not noise, the cavalier is staying sensible for now. I'm g...

Water cooled throttle bodies

I've only just discovered that my throttle body is apparently water cooled. I've also been told that there known to be troublesome, and a lot of people just bypass it altogether. After finding water in the top of mine earlier I think I should consider doing the same. Have any of you guys done this? ...

Ecotec Idle Control Valve

I've just bought a new idle control valve for my 2.0 Ecotec. Is there a certain procedure to follow when replacing it? I work in a ford spares, with the ford valves you need to leave the battery disconnected for half hour, change the valve then go for a 10 mile drive so the ECU recognises youve chan...
