hey all :wave An idea popped into my head. the hose that runs from the air box to the top of the inlet manifold is there to apparently help with cold starts or something, by drawing in warm air. Now, if you rev the engine with the hose off, and put your finger in the air box, you can feel it sucking...

Just a thought, have you checked if the fuel lines are clear? It might just be a bit blocked somewhere. Maybe a bit of carb. cleaner would help?
