Re: SRi 16v W.I.P. (lots of pics)
Been busy last couple of days. The vectra remote locking is playing up again. It won't dead lock again. Been fitting in a sports cat on to the ehaust. http://imageshack.com/a/img924/8192/u5Np5D.jpg Pic shows it ready to be tack welded. Before removal for welding all the way round the pipe. When unde...

Re: My Sri estate XP
The Astra has now got a new feature. It's a 007 James bond smoke screen.
It's idling a bit ruff and pooring white ish smoke out of exhaust. Will have to get it booked in to a garage to get it checked out.

Went shopping to day and got this lot. Will have to go back next week and pick up some other bits. http://imageshack.com/a/img923/7480/dXaxVT.jpg I also got the vectra remote locking to dead lock again. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it works again. Just need to fit the passanger door loc...

Fuel pump realy ?. Down by drivers feet. Give the cover a kick to see if that makes it work when the car stops.

I've been busy again. Tonight I replaced the carbon fibre look vinyl on drivers side.
Might find time in the week to strip and fit the new vinyl on the passanger side too.

Re: SRi 16v W.I.P. (lots of pics)
Well I found a volt and a bit. Think it was a fuse in the fuse box. I had the car apart checking things then it started to give me more voltage and last thing to be fiddled with was a fuse. So time will tell if I've fixed it. While I had car apart I fitted the vectra central locking ecu. It locks an...

Re: SRi 16v W.I.P. (lots of pics)
I dug the car out of the garage today. My plan was to find out why the charge light on the dash is coming on when I turn on a few things. With car running and things turned off. I'm getting 14.4volts tested across the battery terminals. Once I turn on things like heated seats and rear screen. The ch...

I've had to put my cavalier in to storage in the past. All ways felt bad about leaving it and not going near it for months.

I done the same to shocks I fitted to my Astra. Only difference was I painted them black as bilstein b4 are black.
The yellow shocks and red brakes do look cool tho..

It's amazing how mice can get in to tiny gaps. But last place you expect to find one is in side the air filter.

Re: My Sri estate XP
Well I've still got the Astra. Not done much to bar servicing, brakes and tyres when needed. Till a few weeks ago when I thought I must get round to changing brake fluid. Kept putting it off. So one Sunday I started to replace the fluid. Was easy till I went to last caliper and nipple snapped. Then ...

With the road tax now out on the car. Today a swapped over the wheels, so that the car is not sitting for 6 months on the new tyres. The steel wheels came off our combo van. It's now got corsa sri wheels. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/150x100q90/903/tg8eVr.jpg I've got myself a list of jobs to do...
