Re: Toyota Yaris 1.3 CDX (2002).

Aye, I can be. And sometimes I just do cos I feel it needs to be done. It's all a bit odd.

Still, it'll fix :)

Re: My VERY RUSTY VW T25 Camper Van Project

Nicely progressing Rob, as for the gearbox, I am sure it can be put right whatever it is.
Problem for another day.

Re: Toyota Yaris 1.3 CDX (2002).

So, its been a couple of months. Regulator was wrong, so sent that back, still need to go hunting for another one. Finally replaced the rear wiper (snapped the other one whist taking it off, so had to resort to the hack saw). Long over-due a service (3 years apparently :/) and a good wash. I really ...

Re: My VERY RUSTY VW T25 Camper Van Project

Depends on what is next on the list to be restored, given your comments on the vectra thread, maybe look for as many free jobs as you can get done yourself?

No idea - it is completely missing - just a bit of weld left behind on the pipe.

And a barbed rod under the car body.
It'll sort. as long as its working for now. That is what matters.

Excellent progress Rob, even if you think they are 'little' jobs, they are check boxes and as you say - its being made safer :)

Still, it'll be moving under its own power. The new lump will raise those figures a bit won't it?

Re: Bedford Astravan MK2

Wowsers, loving the little bargains you find online, more spends certainly, but over-all hopefully it'll pay off in the end, rightly, or wrongly I'd love to see this with the izuzu lump in it some day. But that is just a selfish want.

Least it wasn't anything too serious and not an issue with the actual brakes themselves.

Not bad for someone who last drove a cav 11 years ago.

Hopefully a nice easy fix. Happy days. Tiger seal, sicaflex, or CT1 would be my goto sealants now for that stuff.

Still things to ponder till next weekend :)

Aye, that main loom earth on the drivers side would be a very good place to start if the indicators are out.

Hope its nice and fun for you :)

Oh, that doesn't look great, and yep elephants trunk would be a good place to look, as well as the foam seal around the heater blower area if that hasn't already been replaced with a sikaflex replacement ;)

Re: 1994 Cavalier LSi C20NE (was C18NZ) Work-horse

It's good progress, for the water ingress I would be looking at the windscreen debonding, looking for signs of delamination. inner wing flitch panels and the sunroof / a pillars where the drains drop down.

Be nice to see you both if you make it. Really is a fantastic show. I'll see if I can dig out some photos from last year (if I haven't lost them) if you want?
