As title says.... I saw this Cav while on holiday near Ipswich and really love the bumper!!!!!!!!!

Long story short... i had an issue where i would be driving along fine and then for no reason, just cut out... after a few mins of waiting and turning over it would come to life... My dad and myself struggled to fing a fault so replaced a few things... Air idle valve ECU HT Leads Fuel relay Octain p...

I tried it again the next day with the engine running and it flashed the same code.... :)

What Is This???

Can anyone tell me if this is the Crank sensor (Or lead that connects to it?) Cavalier 342 Done the paper clip test on my ecu and it flashed up fault code 31 which is: Engine RPM signal (crankshaft sensor) No signal The connector on the pictured cable is nackered... wow! thanks for all the info .... very good i shall have another look at weekend and see if i can get it sorted.... only other thing was wondering is how will the fogs turn on :scratch as i have no switch in car :scratch are these wiring tips linked too my headlights switch... ie i turn fogs on by ...

Hey, I myself have a GLS early 93, Fitted the front fogs myself and a few things that need doing are... The conectors behind the grill/lights are to be pluged into the fog light connectors, You need a 20amp fuse in the slot circled in the below pic... (i have a 15 atm... pic was taken when i was tes...

Could try not leaving your keys in the car when you got to the boot... or if you cant avoid it leave a door open so you dont have to take stuff apart...
