Re: Central locking module

While you're down there find yourself a Vectra b Kiekert locking module with fobs (usually some on ebay) and its plug and play remote locking....Simples

Probably a lot less than you'd want....

I mean I was looking up to around a ton online, plus mine is a hatch so Turbo rear wouldn't go in I don't believe

Re: Optimum offset for a Cavalier with 8x18-inch rims

James Kennedy who still has his old project thread for a Cav Turbo ran 18's on his Turbo Loon and tbh there was very little clearance and he told me it was an absolute pig to drive, believe pics are still on his project thread:

Re: Saab Leathers

Cheers guys, thought I'd ask as Cavalier / Calibra leather getting rare in good condition.

Unfortunately don't have fabricating skills etc so looking for something that is a bolt in job, did consider Vectra B ones but don't like them tbh.

Saab Leathers

Hey guys,

Been perusing the bay of E again and some cracking deals on Saab bigger bolster leather seats but would seats from a 93 or 95 fit the Cavs?

Also would the rear bench fit??

Just to add how realiable these are!

Not once has it not started in 4 years and last week due to time off and a injury she barely moved bar a trip over to see Andrei then sat for 6 days and turned the key and fired, never worry about it not doing so tbh

Re: Mk3 Cavaliers riding on Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2/1.3s

In terms of styling, I don't think they particularly suit Cavaliers per se as (Pro Race) are more of a clean 'modern' look. Team Dynamics Pro Race are popular, perhaps too popular, as they turn up on all kinds of regular sheds out on the roads - Fords, VWs, etc. Cavaliers are of the 90s, so OEM all...

Re: SOUTHERN 12TH MEETING

Thats cool Dave, fareham kind of way is just as easy for me..

Jump on the old 27 and foot down antics occur until I get there, don't come too far west though!! Traffic hell because of the works around Ringwood and then the A338 is 40mph for 9 miles with average speed cameras.......not fun :(

Still no pics as i'm lazy.....lol..... May have found the source of the fuelling issue, on Tuesday I popped over to see Andrei (cavalier342) to fit a new fuel filter than we couldn't get undone for trying but while Andrei was crawling around and I was moaning about my ankle he mentioned checking the...

Re: Mikes 2.0 Gls

I wonder if the distributor cap contacts have disintegrated mate? The one common thing to go on both my 8valvers were cheap after-market distributor caps. The contacts inside which get spark from the rotor arm wear out after a while until there's nothing left, I've replaced at least 2 on both my ol...

Good to hear it passed the MOT. Keep on motoring son! Yes Dad....   She is playing up again though and 2/3 of a tank of petrol and only done 185 miles!! No obvious leaks either as both me and my friendly Mot tester / mechanic went over the fuel lines when it was up on the ramps.. So...

Bored at work? But you have such a busy schedule! lol. Good to hear that dude, nice to see you're still about, I'd keep the C20NE if I were you, why change engines when you can keep it original, and maybe remove the 2.5 tonne sub box from the trunk, that'll lighten her up some lol. So quiet since t...

Re: Mikes 2.0 Gls

Decisions to be made I am afraid to say.... The poor old Cav has a case of tin worm that is progressing at a rate but fortunately via Facebook and the group I am a member of Skirts and wheels I have found a local mechanic to complete the work much cheaper than any garage would charge, he has quoted ...

Hampshire Police are just a nightmare, I got done for 33.2 on the Avenue in Southampton and even the photo showed I was the only vehicle on the 3 lane road at the time and in my works van. Got offered the speed awareness course but they then wanted me to drive to Basingstoke to do it when I live in ...

Re: Refreshing the silver mouldings/stripes. How?

I recently did mine by buying the chrome trim from Ebay on a roll, thinking it would come straight off though is the mistake I made and sure many others have to.. The chrome trim is attached to a plastic plate above it, I instead of sourcing original bits used the chrome trim and cut with a very sha...

Locking flash

Hey Guys, Quick one for the techy minds on here Just re-instated my Vectra B locking module (the simple plug in type) and wondered if there is a way to get the indicators to flash on lock / unlock without the need of a alarm module?? Just gives a visual indication of lock / unlock would be fab! Ta ;)
