Re: Recent purchase sri 16v saloon

Hi there, ref photos Photobucket seems to be a good option for here. i'm sure someone will be able to advise you on engine choices although my preference would generally be as original as possible. good luck and welcome to the club.

find me a classic a new car show on Insight TV.

Earlier tonight this new programme started on the Insight channel and although some of it was staged and a wee bit cheesy, over-all it was pretty good watching. so the presenter is tasked with finding a Morgan 4/4 for his client and after 3 cars where dismissed the 4th was a cracker and in budget wi...

Re: Lowrider Dave - 1994 GLS (Archer)

Just read this storybook from start to finish and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is quite obvious to me that you are a man who, when he starts a job there is only one outcome and that is to do the job properly, no messing about with half harrised attempts just get it done properly. As far...

Re: New Cavalier owner 1993 2.0i gls 60kmiles.

Hi Bob Nice to see another member north of the border. Sounds like you got a good one there with no rust, and 2.0 - bonus. I always say it but remember to clean out the crud from the rear arches, this helps stop advancement of rust in that area, also up behind the petrol filler pipe holds a ton of ...

What colour is my car?

The paint code is 69L and on certain paint suppliers sites that equates to either Rioja red or Petrol blue. i tried to get a paint stick from Vauxhall who sent me the petrol blue that is nowhere near the color. i'm still trying to post pictures of the car but i can't figure out the way to do that. a...

New Cavalier owner 1993 2.0i gls 60kmiles.

Hi there, i picked up this Cavalier in Manchester at the start of February and after the faultless 300 mile drive to Glasgow i started to go over the car from top to bottom to see what work may need doing. at first glance there was nothing imminent wrong with it although i was aware of the MOT comin...
