Re: Return to a Cavalier - Satin Red Diplomat.
Looking at how that heater matrix has blown I think I would seriously consider block testing for exhaust gas in the cooling system. The end tanks on anything don't often let go like that without an underlying issue with excessive pressure.

Re: New Website
I think tapatalk is redundant here now, the new layout converts well to a phone, especially if you flip to landscape, both myself and Rob have been carrying out administration using phones with no issues this last few days. Possibly the unread topic is because nobody else has read it? You will alway...

Photographic subjects
If you enjoy photography, what's your favourite subject to shoot?? I'm into dogs too, so it's a no brainer for me, but I particularly like to shoot running dogs especially flyball. For those more into cars than dogs (really? :D ) there's a fair bit of overlap between shooting a running dog and a mov...

Rescue dogs
My wife and I do quite a lot for a local rescue, transport, fostering and other bits and pieces for fundraising. I've started to do some of the photography for the rescue too. Today I had a shoot for this little lady, Margot, who is currently fostered in Eastbourne looking for a home. https://c1.sta...

Re: Courtesy Lights
It must be getting an earth through the additional loom somehow back though to the front. The switches only provide an earth path, so assuming they are actually switching then there must be something within that loom that supplies the feed to the lights. You only need a positive to the lamps, which ...

Re: Central locking by turning key
Sounds feasible that it might have had central locking and the drivers door actuator or switch has a fault. What happens if you lock or unlock from the passenger side?

Re: Can passenger side lock barrel be used on driver's side?
Barrels will swap from one housing to the other. Clean it thoroughly, regrease and run a file over the tips of the brass tumblers too. If you remove the handle backplate that holds the barrel and look at the rear of the barrel there is a horseshoe shaped circlip that retains it. Hold all the little ...

Re: CAV MK3 CAMBELT RUNNING OFF LINE
If the carrier was worn enough to make the belt run off I'd imagine that you'd be able to measure the movement in the cam. If the crank was it would be knocking it's bollards off. If you have replaced everything else then the only other thing that springs to mind is the possibility that the head has...

When it won't start try unplugging the maf, they will run better without one than they do with a faulty one.
