oh check for cambelt changes. the v6, and this goes for cav v6s too, should be changed every 40k, not 80 as suggested in old service books. any later and you're on borrowed time...

ive got one, an omege elite 3.0i v6. the 2.0s are quite underpowered for a car that heavy really. you want to go for the 2.5 v6 over a 2.0... common problems are breather system, leaky cam covers, rust spots on arches, doors and the bit below the windows on the doors... the breathers and cam covers ...

im hoping its the flaps, but she blows air, just not hot air... is there a test or some visual cue to test your matrix? would the car run off-colour if the matrix was at fault?

how would you know if your matrix had gone. i dont mean it chucking water out into the car, but my heater doesnt work properly at the moment so i wanted to diagnose the problem. how could i tell if it was the matrix? she runs fine, just not a lot of heat, if any, out of heater system. is there a sur...

bosch kit fitted to cav cdx around 94-95 before the dual keyfob/key in one unit was introduced. as it was only fitted for one year it can make it difficult to find replacement parts, but you can bypass the unit altogether as previously stated by other members

this might sound stupid but has the battery packed up? replacement battery is only a couple of quid. replacement keyfobs are available for about 100 quid each from vx if you're lucky. they can be reprogrammed to match your car. let me know if you're interested as i think i have a spare keyfob here a...
