Re: car alarms
thanks guys. :wave Ye i been looking around, as Gaz pointed out, couple hundred smackers is the usual price. I found some dead cheap kits though, but apparently theyre not approved by insurers or something. Not too fussed, mine's only £50 a month, but i just mainly want a basic alarm (to play about ...

Re: How far can you go on a tank of petrol?
well.... considering those old warbirds have to use like 500 liters per mission that probably doesnt last longer than an hour, then let me think about it I think even my 1.8i auto may be in winning chance in fuel economy

Re: How far can you go on a tank of petrol?
Ye, happens a lot buddy, but it just turns out to be about simple scientific facts. How you drive, what temperature the gas is at when its put in the tank, how much was left over from the previous fill-up, condition of the vehicle, plus a whole number of things. trust me, its a bugger lol. If everyt...

Wow
I think the S-reg definitely suits the Cavalier, as the car doesnt look like an old design. Such a shame they stopped production

P-reg...
Hey all :wave I know that the Cavalier production was halted in 1995 sometime, but i heard somewhere that apparently after the veccy was launched, there were a few Cavaliers still put out, under a p-reg. Driving about today, on the way home i spotted a Kings Blue saloon, which i normally see, except...

Re: My V6 GLS ... From Chav to Class
Sweet ok :) oh i've thought of somethin else too.. If i do fit more LEDs in the handles, and wire them into the boot light, they'll only come on when the boot's open, but not the doors  So i gotta somehow hook them up to the courtesy light at the front  Oh well i'll manage someth...

Re: How far can you go on a tank of petrol?
lol ye. there's an issue with both types of fueling-up. Either fill it up and keep topping up, or keep it running at low all the time. The latter is more fun when you're after sporty driving, and cheaper, but the first way seems more practical. i've never filled the tank to the full because i dont r...
