Re: what would this do to a standard clet
Even a C20let with some phase 2 chips, nice exhaust, decent spark plugs/air filter, up the fuel preasure (3.5 barIIRC) and you will have a very quick FWD cav. It will be more than enough

Yeah well 6k I think is a bit optimistic but I reckon maybe £4500.
Never mind its done now. I didn't loose any money on it even after all the work that was done so I was happy

Re: TurboDan's Z20LET-powered Cavalier Turbo in Total Vauxha
One thing that is quite annoying is the price of them these days. I sold that one for £3500 and I reckon it was easily one of the better ones left out there. But now there is some very rough ones appearing for £4500+

Re: Locking flash
I did try to do this but couldn't do it. Really it should be just a wire coming out of the module but it isn't that easy. I think the Vectra/astra uses another module to make them flash. You could link a wire from the lock wire to the indicators, this would make them flash but it would also make you...

Re: V6 fuel tank and front subframe
Yep any 2wd subframe should fit fine, although i think the bigger engined ones had a couple of extra metal plates on but it wont make any differance. Any 2wd(not gsi) injection fuel tank should also fit

Re: one simple question
I agree with what the others have said. I have had Five C20LET, Two Z20LET, Three C20XE and Two X20XEV engines all in differant cars. Smoothest is Z20let, and dead easy to tune to get good power. Nicest noise i'd say is the C20LET Rough and ready out of the box would be a C20XE X20XEV not bad but no...
