Re: Robsey's Thread of Random Ramblings.
What's negative about it? I'm guessing the negative crap came from 15 year olds who don't know anything that was made before last week.

Re: Robsey's Thread of Random Ramblings.
I really like that instrument cluster, definitely has that 80's electronic feel to it like an old AKAI tape deck amplifier. Feels like it would be perfect in a DMC-12 or something. I could definitely have one of those in my room all wired up to a battery and just have all the lights on display, it's...

Welcome to the forum, you've made a good choice. I've had 3 and I never regret owning them. Good simple reliable cars.

Re: Tall people problems
I'm really surprised that an Expression model doesn't have a height adjustment driver's seat. Strange to think that.

I think it would, yes. Although I've never sat in a non-height adjustable seat, so can't say for sure.

Re: Tall people problems
Hey. I agree with Matt, I didn't know Expression models didn't have height adjustable seats, that's strange, it's only a basic crank mechanism, I thought all models had it. Anyway, if you can find a donor car with the same or similar interior colour that has adjustable seats, you can always get repl...

That's a nice option, It's the board style setting, BBoots or Cavmk3oc in the User Control Panel.

Not sure about those engines but it could possibly be a vacuum hose which goes to the throttle body area maybe? Is it a very thin plastic pipe?

Thanks James, I appreciate it. I think it was others discussing cake and biscuits though, you must have got confused there lol. I was usually getting drunk and wondering which stickers and decals I wanted to stick onto my Cavalier the next day.

You're right Robsey, life goes on as normal, each day is another day, and I like to make the most of each day as they go by. Sorry to hear about your loss Robsey, I can't imagine what that is like.

Thanks Matt, I appreciate your message.
You're right Robsey, I can't stand anything that sounds and smokes like a tractor unless it actually is a tractor. Diesels belong in agricultural or heavy goods vehicles, not in ordinary cars.

Just a general thanks to everyone here.
Hey all. I've been here for a while now as some of you will know. I just wanted to say that it's been good here, I've learned so much from you guys. I probably learned more from advice from here than anywhere when it came to carrying out work on my old Cavaliers. And as a community in general, what ...

Looks proper clean, good work.
Quick tip... Next time don't take the photos with a Ford Ciesta in the background, it ruins the photo.

I assume by adjust, you mean just turn it, not sure why it would go out of alignment by itself, they shouldn't really do that. Anyway to find the P and 1 positions, have someone move the gear lever up and down, and look at the position of the selector switch. Unwind the nuts that secure it to the ge...

Man, that sounds like one of those days that stays with you forever.. I just remember it being 62 L in the Haynes manual for all models. UK spec anyway.

I thought they were all 62L myself, never heard of a 50L tank, unless the smallest engine models had them, I don't know.

Probably just a safety feature, as iangsi said, See if you can find a blown fuse somewhere. Also swap out the current battery for another battery to see if that works.

Ye, like I said there are plenty of options out there. I suppose if you have so many photos, then it's a bit tricky having to sort all of it out, I wouldn't even have the patience for it lol.
