Re: How2 wire in a DID display
Nice write up Dave.
Only other thing I'd add is when I wired mine up, instead of wiring it to the illumination (grey / green) already present I ran a new lead to the headlight switch so that the DID faded with the dash clocks.

How2 - Unblock the scuttle panel
How2 - Stop water getting into the car. Now, I have seen this on many Cavaliers in the past, and the most comon fault is that the "elephant trunk" in the bulk head gets blocked and allows the water to back up and flow down into the blower motor and into the heat matrix box. This causes som...

Re: Envoy CDX's 1992 Mk3 Cavalier 18.i LS
Repaired the wiper motor, works better than it ever has. Car is in dire need of a wash, and polish - it'll have to wait till I get back from Cleethorpes.. Currently need to re-wire the rear electric windows due to needing the wiring to be shorter - made the loom too long you see so the sill covers a...

Does it idle ok? If not, pull the hose to the EGR valve and try that. (after doing the above - replacing hoses and such).

Please note: This is a rough draft and will be updated / modified in the future. If anything is unclear or you require any assistance, I'm only a PM away. How to fit Rear Leccy windows. Well, window wiper motor packed up today. common fault, so I have a spare motor to fit already.
The leak is still not fixed as I found out when washing the car.
So needs to be investigated further.

Re: Envoy CDX's 1992 Mk3 Cavalier 18.i LS
Well, rear electric windows are installed, requires a little bit of tinkering as there appars o be a broken wire in the loom that prevents the rear drivers side going up, so some investigation work will be carried out to correct that :) Rear door cards where acquired from a Cavalier CD with rear ele...
