Does it idle ok? If not, pull the hose to the EGR valve and try that. (after doing the above - replacing hoses and such).

Well, window wiper motor packed up today. common fault, so I have a spare motor to fit already.
The leak is still not fixed as I found out when washing the car.

So needs to be investigated further.
