no need to take the pedal out the cable unhooks from the top of the pedal then just pull it through the bulkhead into the engine bay then unhook it from the clutch release lever on the top of the gearbox then fit the new one to the clutch pedal first so your not fighting the tension of clutch. make ...

I have had to change my rear shocks on my 95 gls hatch and have had one of the bolts that hold the bottom of the shock to the rear beam snap and the other one looks like it is on its last legs. true a cracked manifold can make a ticking noise on an ecotec last one i saw/hear was my mates frontera with a y22se that had a cracked manifold we replaced it with a lucky find at the scrappy and that killed the ticking and made a stupid amount of difference to the throttle response

not worked on many 16v vx engines that in depth but surely once the cam cover is off it's just the cam bearing caps that need to come off to lift the cam out and the hydralic lifters? you will need to reset the timing afterwards though.

i ended up having to be let out i was the last car off the field lol made sure it was a full day out must remember to take my club plate off the front plate next time though only noticed after about an hour drive
