Re: Xenon headlights

i've got xenons on my omega elite and standard bulbs on my cav cdx and you really notice the difference. the xenons on the omega are incredible, the pure light and the amount of it is really something else. you might be able to make them out in the pic below. i'd like to know where i can get a set o...

Re: cdx bosch keyfob query

ok so i've been doing some investigation and heres the upshot; you cant start the car without immobiliser fob unless you bypass immobiliser. however, there IS a way of adding new keyfob and pairing it the existing one quite easily: This is for the CDX model You must have at least one working fob. A ...

Re: cdx bosch keyfob query

Unfortunately that'll be an after market kit most likely and won't have anything to do with the key at all. Only thing you can do is contact the kit's manufacturer and give them the serial number and see if they can get the fob coded for you that way. this bosch unit was fitted to cav cdx's '94 / '...

Re: fitting bodykit

its simple enough but measure plenty of times and use some quality adhesive, they are all shaped anyway so you wont have the hassle of making them fit hmmn... it might be simple but with absolutely no prior knowledge of this kind of thing i really dont know how to go about sticking the door panels ...

Re: cdx bosch keyfob query

the problem is that i dont seem able to turn off the immobiliser with the key alone. its the standard bosch fit, but unless im missing some trick or another i can only turn off the immobiliser with the key fob :( is there another way of switching it off?

cdx bosch keyfob query

got the cav but only have one keyfob for immobiliser. its the standard fit, and its a bosch rk113 unit, same as in pic below. these keyfobs were also used on ford models, probes and the like, but the model was rk112 there. they look identical in every way and i wondered if one can be used/programmed...

They tend to be heavy and any less you manage to pull them out if you hit anything plus it stops all the weight being on one clip

Re: fitting mudflaps

drilling flaps into the car is a bad idea, they will just let in water to the pannel gaps and it will rust out in time There are clamp type mounts that are a lot easier on the bodywork id get some of those http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mudflap-clamps-clips-fittings-U-C-brackets-mud-flap_W0QQitemZ3202894834...
