Re: Rolling Road Day
I think the general idea for this is to have an all mk3 Cavalier turn out to promote the forum in Total Vauxhall - get some publicity and hopefully some new members.
Could someone confirm this for me?

Both the touchup kits came with lacquer thankfullyGaz wrote:T-cut an area clean paint a bit of both somewhere out of view see which is the best match
Other than the lacquer youve got everything
Inner doors will be best for concealment I think - will ponder and review

Re: why do you own a cav?
Hmm, good question. I think its because of all the other cars I've owned, the Cavalier has a certain appeal and character that suits my nature, it looks like a car should in my opinion, not boxy and not as curvey as the pie ladie in number 4 round square street. Bought my first cav for £50 - little ...

Re: My daily work horse [WIP] 1.7TD
anita has got some preface sri strips if your going that way. What happened to the g3 session? should look a million times better when its done up in the air at the minute, the weather here is typically welsh. It's either piddling it down or so hot the G3 is reduced to powder in seconds. I have a p...

Re: expleetive deleted SCUM!!!
Its an easy fix if your prepared to put the graft in you need to get the colour into the scratch but not to the surface, use a tiny art brush give it time to flash off (an hour should be enough) then fill it with lacquer to just above the surface. dont overdo it as you'll only have to take it off G...

Re: expleetive deleted SCUM!!!
will the scratch flat out? get some paint in it to stop the rust Scum cant leave peoples stuff alone I was hoping the scratch wasn't too bad, hoped it would polish out - unfortunatly not the case. Its not through to metal, but its through the lacquer and paint - nice white strip from the top of the...

Re: What can i do next to my Cav
Well, you could go the HIDS route, but aye they are expensive. However if your lights are dull I found when I replaced my headlights with new lamps (full units cost me about £22 each) with the halfords ultra bright bulbs (12.99 buy one get one free) and it transformed the drive at nice, looks better...

there were 2 Polar Sea Blue Cavs on the stand as well, mine and little Dave's, we needed a splash of colour to split things up, whats happened to all the red and white Cav's???? Unfortunatly, the white and red ones seem to attract "the bug" alot faster than others - so anyone with a...

Re: whining noise and not from passenger seat :)
If its coming through the speakers, could it be related to alternator?
I'm assuming you've turned the radio off to see if the noise is still there?
Is it a high pitched sound or just a buzzing whinning sounds?

Re: Which sump?
Without check control. LS Cavs never had this as standard, so unless your planning to fit it (unlikely to be fair) - get the one without.. unless the one with is cheaper :D  (it will have a hole in it for the sensor but I'm sure you can find some plumbing tape and the correct sized bolt to put ...
