ive spent roughly £1500 on the v6 excluding buying it and it still needs money spent to sort but im working gradually on improving as plan to keep it long term. it does creep up on you cos its always £100 part here £40 part there. if we didnt love are cavs we would go for the cheap option but thats ...

probably is a R1 but obviosly knows the astra driver and is the only vehicle that could be used to film a car that quick,plus he rolls on in a high gear to match the astras speed.

all sorted now,thanks for the help chaps,took it to my local tyre place and they did the same as suggested with the socket and copper mallet, took them 10 mins to do all 4

started to change my rear springs tonight for my new H and R springs did the rears easy as pie then started to do the front. i loosened the wheel nuts and got to the locking nut and the key broke in half with the required effort!so now im stuck cos i cant remove my wheels any ideas on how to remove ...

if i find rust i grind it back to baremetal with the hard wire brush attatchment then i prime it and under seal it
the trick is not to cover up rust as it will come back and bite you later
some times when you take it right back to metal you find bits that look minor turn into holes that were hidden

thanks will look into it as want to strip the under side remove any rust and proof it for many more years to come hopefully sadly cavs seem to lack underseal from the factory especially places that rust funny enough!like nothing on the last 2inches of inner rear arch why not do it all the way,but if...

any body know what the rubber textured body seal stuff is that is used from the factory,it seems the perfect stuff for redoing the underside of the cav and getting a better than factory finish leaving no tacky messy bits and easy to paint body colour
