Re: Southcoast meet

when someone sorts a meet, it needs more than this sort of notice. i love the old bangers, and am pleased to chin wag at length about em, but have other stuff going on too. Your comment comes across a tad aggressive... I'm sure you don't mean it to... just though I would point it out :P It is a tad...

Re: Onwards And Upwards...

I originally started looking into the diesel engines... But this came up and was to good to pass on. At the moment and for the near future (until cash flow is better) It will be staying as is... Thinking of moving away from extreme body mods and going more to subtle... Would love air ride, but gener...

Re: Lighting Relay Circuits

My biggest short fall is the thinking side of it... with 2 very loud, whiny kids that wont give me 5 mins to think... And when I do get some quiet time Its late and I'm knackered... Once the thought process is out of the way, I understand how it works... It took me several weeks to work out the rela...

Interesting... Don't think it's that easy...
Been trying to wire my dipped beam to come on with my full beam...
I can get this to work ok... I tried to add a separate relay so the fogs came on as well and all manner of things went crazy :/ good luck with what your planning :)

Re: A Bit Of Help With Lights And Relays...

Why are you taking your signal from the highbeam only? Also, the "high beam signal" was probably still giving power through it. Was taking the 'signal' from high beam so that when high beam was turned on it would give power to the coil in the relay thus activating the switch mech and givi...

A Bit Of Help With Lights And Relays...

My plan is to have the dipped beam and fog lights come on with the high beam... I made a loom using a twin output NO 5 pin relay... the lay out was: 12v Fused Live Earth Signal from high beam X2 output... 1 to dipped beam and 1 to fog light... Using some info i got about which pin is which on the he...

For the C20NE - yes. I could advise for other modules, but out of respect to the original thread, I would recommend starting a new post for your conversion. ... As far as I remember, they are machine pressed... You might find the play at the motor. If it's hitting the bonnet, move the arm a spline or 2... Easier than it sounds lol
