Re: parts for cav sri
its down in inverkiething mate next to the train station, you just go along, put on a hat and vest, pay £1 to get in and then you can take what you want off the cars, the prices are very fair indeed. sometimes there is cavaliers, there is a few calibras and plenty vectra. not sure if the ECU off a v...

Re: Squig's CDX v6; WIP
it sits quite low for a -35mm drop, I know the V6 pushes the front down but the back sits good, especially with the 17's on it. hmmmmm you got shocks and springs on it? just looking at options for dropping my v6.
what mods you got done to yours?

I have no idea why they thought that it would work, cutting corners to save costs I guess, all I know is the V6 cesaro eats those puny items for breakfast.

Re: Anti roll bars
the cesaro V6 has the same set up as the 1.8 cesaro, god knows why vauxhall did it but that is why you have the 18mm units. my SRi XE had the 22mm on it, is it not the turbo's that have the 24mm?

Re: V6 Cesaro
welcome along mate.
good luck in finding your old cesaro, think you will find it hard though. you can get panels from anywhere really, just buy another cheap base spec cavalier and switch the panels over, going that they are straight that is.

Re: cav keeps shunting driving thru town?
hi mate, when my mate had your cav, sometimes the speedo would stop working, just now and again though, that is prob the fault your mechanic is picking up on. the problem with your car is the idle control valve, 99% sure on it, I told bryan a million times to clean that out when he had it but he was...

Re: fitting new wishbones
wishbones are all the same, though the prefacelift models have a slightly weaker version, when the facelift model came out the bottom arms were revised and they were all fitted with a stronger arm, so really if your changing the arms make sure it is the revised ones.
