Roadside recovery.
Well, I joined the RAC the other day - £7.72 a month it works out at for 12 months to get dragged home on the back of a trailer should something bad happen apparently - Much cheaper than the AA equivalent which they stung me over £100 for a year or two ago.
Who are you with if any and why?

Anyone working on their car this weekend?
As above really
Anyone working on their car this weekend?
Looking like an oil and filter change and general tidying of the engine bay and planning project: engine loom
Other than that might be doing the bottom arms too.

well budget up to £200 for the rear window - try and bring the asking price down. Depending on the rest of the body work, how well the engine runs, and if the underside is strong or not. Anything from £250 - 1200 these days. Realistically you probably want to get it checked over before even discussi...

Re: Rebuild
Thing is low mileage cav engines will either been always used from cold and be 15/20 years old. very true. It's taking a while to loosen up my 67k mk2 engine and I'm now finding problems. It's coked up, injectors are sticking, its noisey, and I don't think the oil is circulating properly.. Investig...
