Re: Reverse light switch auto to manual conversion
My thoughts for auto to manual conversion of electrics. There are two main differences if automatic transmission will be changed to manual - starter circuit and reverse switch. Changes are as simple as that and it can also be undone easy: locate X46 in engine bay. It's the 7-pole connector at the AT...

Calibra Special Edition or Sportive
Anybody here driving some of the Calibras called "Special Edition" or "Sportive"? These are two editions fitted with C20NE and a special inner trim for the seats called "Rain". I look for further information for my website.

Re: Headlight range switch for Cavalier V6
No, that isn't that simple. They look the same, but they aren't. Differences are inside. They have different values of resistors inside. And EPC is not telling which code is for which car or equipment.
I think I will have a look in parts microfiche but I think, that will also not help.

At first, I wanted to know, if anybody recognises the city with the castle on the top of the mountain. 8-) There are plans for the car. To keep it! :D At first there are some things to change for German permission. Headlights with range adjustment and removal of the window foils. Bolster of driver s...

Tobi's 1994 Vectra V6
News from the crazy guy at Leipzig! :D Not enough, that my first project didn't start except for transport to my pal - no, another story happens! :D To start from the beginning: For years I wanted a hatchback V6. Just 4.631 were ever produced. One of the smallest amount after the legendary Turbo (ab...

The best solution for posting pictures is own webspace instead of such imageshack/photobucket crap. Reliable own webspace with about 50 GB costs approx. 5 €/month (in Germany).

I think it is easier when you write down, what you want. New transmission i.e. or something like that.Mazza wrote:If anyone has any C20LET spare parts, ideally new and boxed, then let me know.

Re: Cavalier restoration
Did you drill out the steering gear mounts? If not, do so. Everytime lots of corrosion inside. I’ve seen there are a few 3rd party makes, but does anyone know who made these officially for gm / Vauxhall - hence the varied price difference. They were made by Kostal. These new parts are made in China...

Just until model year 1995. Then Calibra got the new gear knob which is also used in Vectra B, Astra and Corsa. But don't ask me why it was not changed in Cavalier.
