After putting the removal of the drivers sound deadening off for ages, I got it done Monday and was happy with what I found underneath it and I was already happy with the other side especially since it seems it had been that way for quite awhile Drivers http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a401/Metal...

Small update, I've sorted the heater panel out, bought one instead looks a good job, with good illumination will upload a photo when it arrives :)

Cheers troy, I had previously searched for the way to work it out but couldn't find anywhere that explained it clearly :thumb
I'm sure I've got a full set of switches to work with just need a small tip for my soldering iron and correct LEDs and resistors :)

Temp sensor wires... Take out glove box, up and to left is a big rubber gromet... Get some garden wire or wire coat hanger and carefully push it through, tape wires to coat hanger and pull trough :) Route it whatever way makes you happy under the bonnet :) Cheers Hayward its finished now, I routed ...

Yeah i've decided to stick with standard bulbs in the switches for now, ordered my blue LED's for speedo and clock though :) Window switches I'll get some LED's and resistors to play with my spare 2 way switch, Heater panel I'll have a go at when I've thought through multiple options, while thinking...

Yeah I found a set of flattop LEDs with resistors soldered and heat shrunk on I think I'll use :)
Do the heated switches and surround you have got LED's in? I might be getting the surround/switches with the leather but I might have to have LEDs ;)

I had a look for a place to route the temp sensor tonight but couldn't find anywhere that could go to the engine bay... is that where it's supposed to go?
Where abouts have people routed theirs or where the factory ones are routed? Really want to get this completed :)

Yeah I have thought about that, been thinking about doing it and bought a spare panel before I even had the TD, so about 7 months I just keeping putting it off :lol: got it disassembled but it's a bit battered but I've got another 2 spares to work with :)

I did forget to compensate for the fact I'm going to take the ground... ....along with illumination so the heater panel will only come on with the lights... Going to split the dimmer circuit wire I'm routing for the clock to the heater panel, then i can take the ground from the original bulb circui...
