Hello from GSi owner in Cornwall!

Post by wafers »

Evenin!
I have a 92 white Cav GSi which is a work in progress. Originally owned a blue one in 2004 and sold it when it failed the MOT on rotten arse end :cry
Missed it for years, and took the plunge and bought my white 92 last summer. Should be going on the road in the next couple of months. Anyone breaking any Cavs in the SW area? Cheers! :cool

Realised I never updated this!
The GSi is still off the road in the garage at the mo. Am currently toying with replacing it with a mint GSi (have found one, but it's miles away and not my favourite colour....), although I feel guilty that mine would probably end up being broken for parts, which would be pretty gutting. Currently needs work on sills and one rear arch, but am expecting to unearth other bits if and when work starts.
Here she is about 12 months ago:

And this is just before, when we were playing with alloys we had lying around -

Cheers matey, funnily enough some lads who dropped off my slabs (I had to buy a set for the car as they were missing when I bought it) were eyeing up the arrows the car was sat on temporarily, asking if I wanted to sell them. The answer was no!

Yeah sure do, a large number of the family are right on the north coast about eight miles down from Newquay. I don't get down there as much as I'd like to these days but it's a lovely part of the world.
