Finally found my cav but had to travel over 200 miles on the train to go and get her though.
But had fun driving her home, I must of looked like a nutter with big smile on my face lol.
Ruining a little rough when you first start her up but fine after that, will sort that out when I give her a service and clean up.
She is a 2.0L cdx n reg. :love :love

Check the plugs and leads, and obviously oil :thumb Check all earth points too, clean them up if necessary.

She'll be the C20NE block by the sounds of it. :thumb

Yes will be checking all of them and more the car is going into college with me on Tuesday so will get it on the ramp to give it a good going over to see what things will need to be done to her so pen and paper on stand by lol.

Bonnet catch just broke so will sort that on Tuesday and find out what the engine code is then, all I know is its not a red top.

jobs to do so far..........give har a full service as it looks well over due, new cambelt, new wheels as its got the wrong one on it and the rear wheel arches need looking at.

I have never seen a cav in this colour before but it is a sort of a bluey silver I think.

Its got odd covers on them and I cant stand them so will be changing them soon I hope.
Would like to find out what would have been on there from new and see if I can find some to put back on.
Didn't cdx's have alloys on them???

Bottom line of the chassis plate, usually two numbers and a letter, but I think some later codes took different forms.
