Thanks, no plans as yet, might keep it original, but would be nice to add upgrades in the near future. and would love to get some cav slabs on it.humbucker wrote:Helllo good evening and welcome, nice to see your car. Got any plans for it? Enjoy your stay at cavmk3oc.com!

Thanks, yes mine has the S button too, i'm so pleased to have a cavalier as my first car, didn't fancy a corsa a cav is much more fun. I hope to keep it for as long as possible and it helps that my dad is a mechanic so it will be well looked after.jonleeds wrote:Lovely car there, I can remember when I bought my white 2.0 CD Auto, I'd never driven an automatic before and as I was driving it out of the guys driveway my left foot was instinctively flapping around looking for the clutch pedal!
Anyway I soon got used to it and I was surprised how nice the automatic cavalier was to drive. I dont know if your Cavalier auto has that 'S' button on the top of the gear shifter, but my Cav auto did and it used to really make the car speed up a lot, I loved getting onto the motorway / dual carriageway and pressing the 'S' button and roaring away!
You are so lucky to have one of these for your first car, the Cavalier is a much nicer to drive car than any of those tinny 1.0l hatchbacks that most 1st time drivers buy. If you look after your Cav then you could still be driving it in ten years time.
