hi all am Daniel Mcginley (a.k.a Dani). Am from the Orkney Islands, Scotland.
In ten days i will have 3 cavalier mk3 in my poession. one 1.8ls auto, two red(well pink) 1.8ls. i aslo have an mk3 astra, rover 216sli and an transit van :D:D.

Will post pics when iget them.

welcome to the site buddy, hope u enjoy it :) decent list of cars there ;) I currently drive a 1.8 LS Auto, its a beauty, incredibly smooth acceleration and generally an amazing practical reliable hatchback :D u dont see many automatics about really, not here anyway, i've only ever seen another 1 on the roads, for sale near me. :shock:

well thank you guys and gals ;), i will be picking up the auto and the modded one on wednesday so will get pics of them all then, the auto i have been told is sweet and powerful, i hope it is faster then me astra auto(for sale)

The auto is indeed very agile for its age and engine size. u should find 1st gear gets u quickly to 45mph, :twisted: by which time other 5-speed cars would have lost power going into 2nd or 3rd :lol: but beware, driving in a "sporty" manner can make the fuel go down pretty quick. however with a light foot it is still enjoyable, and can have good economy around town. all in all the gearbox and its features are lovely. i hated automatics before i had this Cav, but now i love them :lol:
