Thanks Its a 1.8 LS nothing too special but i need to start somewhere and for £150 I cant really complain lol

Welcome to our forum Paddy.
I presume as it's an LS, it's facelift, therefore you've got the C18NZ engine, bomb-proof lumps those, so simple and satisfying to work on and service, you'll see what I mean once you start cracking on with jobs on it. I've had one for 6 years, never gone wrong other than small electrical problems which I've always managed to sort.

Yeah facelift C18NZ with 189k miles, only thing it needs now is a fuel pump and new HT leads. I already find it easy to work on

Just in case you didn't know, the pump is in the tank under the rear seats, it's built into the sender arm unit, but is easy enough to replace. Bit fiddly but do-able in a couple of hours or so.

Got the fuel pump sorted today, fitted one out of my x16xe corsa now I need HT leads and a exhaust lol
