New Member from Stoke on Trent
Hello All!
My name is Ash and I have just purchased myself an immaculate red 1.6i Cav Concept.
I got it from an old guy who had it from 6K Miles and there is nothing wrong with it - well happy!
Few pics of the new red Cav;
My plans are to B204 It
I did own a green cav for two weeks but it was a rot box - few pics of her;

Welcome to our forum!
Glad that another rare survivor has made it's way into our club, I'm sad to hear that you want to change the engine though, as Concepts are special edition models, very rare nowadays.
Nonetheless, it's your own project. I like the alloys on your old green Cav, suited it so well. How bad was the rot on it?

I have a mk3 astra that I am swapping all the bits over to - possibly. I might not do it yet.Cavalier342 wrote:Welcome to our forum!

Very nice
Odd than an M-plate has a non-airbag steering wheel.
Doesn't sound like a mod for the previous owner (an old geezer)

I also thought this but I do not have ABS, central locking or electric windows.colin1 wrote:Very nice

I had a look and it also as the paint on the nut in the middle of the steering wheel to show its never been removed.

Re: New Member from Stoke on Trent
Makes sense being a Concept, it was probably an updated Envoy by the sound of things. Very odd though as Colin pointed out, I was under the impression that ABS and driver's airbag was standard on all models post 94.

Re: New Member from Stoke on Trent
That's all perfectly normal for a Cavalier Concept.
Like may other Vauxhall 'special editions', the Concept was quite poorly equipped for two main reasons, chiefly to get rid of old parts (The Expression was sold purely to get rid of unsold Diplomat alloy wheels for example) and also to keep the costs down as they were marketed as promotional offers which would have been cheaper than a standard or envoy spec Cavalier.
