Hello, and welcome to the Mk3 Cavalier Owners Club! Nice to see another Turbo 4x4 owner joining the fold :)

A couple of quick questions: did you equip your car with an enlarged exhaust system, and did you sell to a chap named Martyn Webster? If so, then I might have hit the jackpot; that distorted reg plate look as though it says M595 MKR!

Yes, further investigation reveals that this is/was your car. Distorted plates are even clearer in these pics:

The car was featured in Total Vauxhall magazine shortly before Martyn joined the Audi fraternity. I'm guessing this was sometime during 2006 or 2007 (Martyn sold the car around that time):

Hi yep thats my old car !!!! i bought it off a guy in Kent 1998 for £8995 he had to push it off the driveway as i couldnt get it in reverse @ the time just needed gear shift adjustment. i put that number plates on it but when i got rid of the car it was totally standard apart from that wish i never parted with it ..it was either take a mortgage on my own or lose the house so the car had to go hopefully another decent one will come up here as i have the money.....really appreciate you finding all this its made my day seeing it still looking so good

Those were personalised plates?

The pics are a few years old, I wouldn't assume that the car is in the same condition now. I believe Martyn sold up in 2007. These photos were taken before or around that time.

If you want to get in touch with him in a bid to trace the car to its current owner, then you might want to message him here: https://www.facebook.com/djdestiny
