Hello from another Phantom reader ...

Post by Mazza »

Hi All,

I thought I'd introduce myself and my turbo.

So, dare I say it,.. after 20+ years away from the scene I decided to buy a turbo ('93). Blooming bonkers, but that's one ticked off the bucket list!!!

Anyways, I've owned her short of a year and brings a smile every time. Some 'works' have been done by the previous owners.. good/bad as expected. I need to get the car back on the road and would appreciated any help along the way.

As for find parts, it's just down right stupid and being polite...

Pictures will follow.

I need to fix the central locking (all doors & boot locked except drivers).. been told its the central locking relay ... although if I remember pulling fuse 12 + 17 may fix it. Also, need some prop shaft bearing (purrff) list is growing ..

Looking forward to meeting / talking to the existing members and exchanging tips :wave

Hi mate welcome to the forum, I am a fellow cavalier turbo owner, having had mine over 10yrs, as said previously pics required, as I might recognise the reg and give you a bit of history on it. Ads

Does anybody know the correct number of damper rings required for fixing the exhaust system ... on a Cav Turbo???

I looked thru the history here, I believe the correct OEM part is 90280491.

It's a bit bonkers how it's held up.. Pics will follow.
