Olá Cláudio,
Bem-vindo ao nosso fórum amigável. :wave

É bom ver como são as outras 'versões' do nosso Cavalier em outros países.

Seu carro está muito bonito e arrumado.

Não se preocupe, seu inglês é melhor que meu português. :)

Rob.

Hello, Rob and Matt!

I'll try to answer both.

Rob, I'm really very happy to get into the club. Vectra was produced by Chevrolet in version "A" between 94 and 96, version "B" between 96 and 2005. We didn't have "C" version in Brazil. We have many groups of Vectra "A" versions and specials groups of GSi version.

Matt, my car is now in restoration. A friend tells me, your project is a RestMod Car. It is painted, need to polish and engine almost finished. About the location, it was Intermares Beach in Paraíba State. If you look for Paraíba's Beaches, you will discover many places like that.

Next time I will tell more.

My wife is a jewellery lover, so I have heard of Paraiba before.
For those with a less expensive wife, Paraiba is also the name given to a very expensive sea foam green coloured Tourmeline gem stone. (First discovered and mined in the Paraiba district).

So - back to the Vectra - I am looking forward to seeing the restoration progress - or the finished car.

Is the picture of your car before restoration?
It looks like it is already restored.

Rob,

Brazil has many places where beautiful gems are found. Minas Gerais and Bahia have many mines.

About my car, I'm waitting the restoration ends to produce an album in my Instagram. I'll notify.

I didn't see my previous post:

I need to share my problem. Until now, I didn't get closed the engine. One sensor desapeared and nobody knows where it is. Now, I am looking for minimum oil level sensor for C20XE and I need a help to find one. Someone can help me to solve this? I will be very happy if get one.

Hugs!

The post is here.

I moved it to general engine queries, although it would have been equally suited in the wanted section.

The problem is that even in the UK, the oil level senders are hard to find on a 28+ year old car.

I see this (9) is the part you are looking for...
