Post by luke cavi sri 8v »

Hi people...i just joined this site i have be meaning to do it since i got my cavi mrk3 1992 hatchback 2.0 8v sri in red.over 2 years ago,.

As i said i have had this for over 2 years now it was up for sale for about £450,i was looking for a ford sieera but when i seen this advertised i had to have a look at it i didnt no much about cavaliers but wanted something fast and was easy to work with as soon as i had a test drive i new it had to be mine smooth, fast, and handled like **** and a bargain of just over £400,i love everthing about this car and wouldnt change it for anything .

I took it off the road so i could do most of the work myself mostly to engine parts ect it took me about a year but i eventially got there and got it mot,
I am going to do some more moding to it like suspension kit, bigger brakes, leather seats ect i want to keep the look as origanal as possible with a few mods were needed most as standard as possible ,it has had a straight through de cat exhaust sounds really good ,power boost valve,i dont have an inducton kit fitted i am unsure if i should or not ?,17 inch black/red rim alloys "it does polish up nice but does have some small areas of rust apearing and i dont have a garage or i would fix them myself but apart from that a exellent car
I will be adding pics at some point and updating them as i go.
