hi to everyone, a new member, my car is a N reg Cavalier Hatchback 1.8ls nautilus blue, bought it on ebay recently for £320. 69000 miles, passed MOT with no advisories, have fitted new cam belt as no service history, no rust , wheel arches perfect, had 2 vectras befor, but got fed up with engine management electronics going wrong and expensive to fix, so back to old faithful, my 4th mark 3, car is in very good condition , original except for new radio, has one fault, passenger front door has a dent, so looking for another door same colour with electric window, ? i would like to show this car, a new venture for me, so have to get door first, if anyone can help that would be great, am 70 years old but like a kid with a new toy ! i live in essex, am an ex merchant seaman , did 22 years, hobbies are cavaliers, model merchant ships and merchant navy history. did 6 months exploring india last year, saw a few cavaliers out there. but badged opel. regards. tony. ![Pram :pram](./images/smilies/th_toysoutofpram.gif)

Interesting story you have there. I like marine vessels myself, but mainly on the warship side.

I worked on a few ships as a welder at cammell lairds years ago , the last one i remember was the rfa boat Argus doing the elephants feet under the flight deck .
