Nice to see some Mk2's still going strong.

It was the Mk 2 that converted me to Vauxhall cars :thumb

Guess it is welcome back to the site :wave

Looking forward to see how you get on with the engine swap / upgrade.

i started off with a mk1 cav 2.0L sports hatch way back in 1989 then had an alfa sud clover leaf sold it for £150 and some guy phoned me a couple of years later to tell me it was a show car and worth £8000 , then onto mk2 cav SRi's had about 5 or 6 and the best cav i had was a 1990 mk3 cav SRi in white loved that car had it for about 5 years must have put 70,000 miles on it one clutch and one head gasket good old 8 valves bullet proof lol

the alloy wheels were an optional extra on the mid spec sri , i have a spare set that still need refurbed , its a really solid car with only 10" off welding on both sills and had 2 new rear arches fitted last year , total spend so far is about £2000 not bad really
:) :) :)
