Hiya !

Post by Holly888 »

Hi, Names Holly, from Northern Ireland... Was looking for parts and someone suggested i check out this site. So thought i would sign up & say hello. Im currently in the process of getting my baby on the road. Hoping she should be MOT'd and fully legal within a week or so.. Bought her about 8years ago standard.. And was talked into spending about £12000 on her. This is the finished product..

Hello good evening and welcome to cavmk3oc.com :wave Are those 5 series lights?! Looks like you've been busy! If you have documented the work please do get a thread up in the Work In Progress section, I can guarantee you'll be inundated with replies, opinion is often very split over these kinds of mods! It would be good to see how the car started out too.

Enjoy your stay here and if any of us can be of help then just shout out in the relevant section!

:)

Welcome to the site, your cavalier is a bit different from most Cavs on this site.

Bonjour

I like the wheels...

I've decided I would really like a sex change, preferably from 'none' to 'absolutely shitloads'

Welcome! But 12k. . . .on what? A list would be good to appreciate the work. I assume at that level of coin there is engine work too? A very 90's mod style, but if that's what tickles your pickle then good on ya.

The completely smoothed bumpers are quite unusual, more pictures or a Work in Progress thread if you have details that you can post would be great. Even if its a retrospective look at the car, before during and after. Would love to see what you've got.

Howdy there Holly :wave

I am not an external mods fan, but I think it is a nice tidy Cav overall.

The boot spoiler is a marmite thing, and you either like them or loathe them..
I am affraid that I am not a spoiler fan, unless it is an OEM style item.

The headlights look different, but okay. - seems a more modern, tidier version of the morrettes theme.

I am not sure that I would personally plough 12K into a Cavalier but the main thing is "if you love the Cav, then it is totally worth the effort and the money"
