Hi from Norway!

Post by KennethNO »

Just wanted to say hello from Norway. I came across your website through our own opelmotorsport forum here on the other side of the North Sea. :)
It did'nt take me long too undestand that you people can give me alot of inspiration for me and my Opel Vectra/Cav. Therefore I joined cavmk3.

Here's a pic of my Opel Vectra A Turbo 4x4. This car is rather rare over here, with a number of only 10 new-sold cars, and another 10-15 that came too Norway by import. Mine is not import.

I'm planning a thread with more pics and information of my car, including some questions. I'm also getting alot of inspiration for my further plans in here. Thanks guys.

(Sorry if my english seems fishy some times) :P

Thanks man! :)
I'm curious what yous guys think about my car. Cause when I'm looking through other cav.turbo threads in here, the main standard is actually too keep the car standard and cleen. I'm not the person who would like to modify my car too the unrecognizable, but by lowering it, new wheels and small modifications are a huge hit over here.
My main idea is to keep the car nice and cleen, so that it look like it could have this look when it was brand new.

Further plans must be too replace the front bumper. Actually never liked this cutted one thats sits on now, so I've got a original bumper with foglights that's going to replace this one. Think I'll keep te Laguna-splitter, and maybe do some smaller mods to make my ic breathe more.
I also want to spend some money on a new paintjob. Was thinking of changing colour, but I'm a big fan of this Nova black, so probably it will keep the black colour. :)
Thinking of new wheels aswell, but the Steinmetz-wheels are rather reare, so I'm not quite sure.

Think I have some questions about my further plans in my upcomming thread.

4x4 is working perfect. Had too change the transferbox because of the poversteering oil leeking through the simmering. Replaced it with a transferbox for a Calibra Turbo thats been modifyed from a factory in Germany called Lotec. The seller had no info wether the box i original or reinforced. To me it works like the original one, but I'm not sure.

Looks quite ok I guess, but I'm not happy with the cutting that the previous owner did on it. I'm also missing the foglights. This makes the car an rough look I think, but maybe not quite what I'm looking for...

I've decided I would really like a sex change, preferably from 'none' to 'absolutely shitloads'
