"making the cat extremely difficult to remove and easier to move onto another vehicle with an unprotected cat"

So... that's not solving the problem, that's just passing the problem around the corner. Stupid I think, it looks like something that can be bolted off in 5 seconds.

By that same logic everyone may as well leave there cars unlocked as someones is going to get stolen anyway, so you may as well make it easy for the scum.

I left my window half way down before... Nobody did anything but it is a quiet road. Still I wouldn't make a habit of doing it.

Youve missed the point.

If you own a fleet of, say 15 vehicles and each CAT costs you £400 a piece, paddy can have £6000 worth of metal off you and 15 vans off the road. Which depending on the buisness, would be a shed load of money.

But if paddy looks underneath your vans and decides to bugger off and hit some one else, then your safe, its some one elses problem if they dont take security measures.

The cables are hardened steel, very difficult to cut, the ideal tool would need more room than the limited height a vehicle on the ground will offer. Its a pretty much single fit security measure.

It seems that all you do is follow me around this forum, correcting me every single time.... The way it was described, it could mean either situation, I'm sure you can understand that.
