Had a quote for third party FAF.... £1942 annually. .
Not sure whether to go for it...or get something smaller...
Ino theres the insurance on here which I will give a go that class Cav owners as " better drivers" but cant seeing it be much difference. ..but theres the point that you normallybtake about £200 off the comapre site price...
Still leaves £1700-£1800

Not sure why your taking £200 off the comparison site quotes, there usually pretty spot on for me.
How old are you? How many no claims you got?

Haha no SRI Cav....and the quote if for september...so 19 and 1 year no claims...and coz last time I got insurance it was few hundred lower

I'm 24 with no years no claims, and 3 points. insuring a fully modded cav for £995
Best thing I can say is, ring around, all the compare website was quoting me £1700+

Crikey! I have never paid more than £600 for any insurance policy. Sykes are good on the modified stuff I believe.

Ahhh wellnil give them a try tomoro...dont wanna sell...but dont wanna pay through the nose for insurance. .I do love my cars...but Running, maintaining , and insureing the Cav to whatbit deserves will be very costly!

Cheapest I could find was £435
but I guess cos its fully comp, NCB protected and Class 1 busniess use.

FOOOOK! How much?! I remember being 17 and having a 2.0i chipped Sierra. That was a £600 premium! But £2k for a Cav SRi? Wowsers. As Terry says, I know times have changed, but even so, that's crazy.
