Given the replies so far, Id'd rather stick a pot over my head and repeatedly beat it with a wooden spoon!

I don't listen to anything modern unless it's thrash, death, black or alternative metal.

Modern?! Got your finger on the pulse of cutting edge genres there.

Like pies choice, with a good sub and amp setup that will sound nice.

I listen to literally anything except rock, metal, classical. Hate rock!

I spend most of my day flicking through the radio stations but end up on smooth fm most of the day. Except for friday at 9am on radio 1 for the mix tape! Turn it up!

And you cant forget christmas music at the moment. Love it!

Yep, that's where my love of 80s music comes from.

A slightly more sensible choice this time:

Oh eck!!

I'm old, so listen to most stuff

Mainly an 80's person, but I do like the odd relaxing Metallica ditty.

Embarrassing, but as a school lad in the early eighties, I used to listen to all the Electro and street dance stuff.. can't do with it now.

This thread should be what I won't listen to...

I hate Guns n Roses, because the missus has "sweet child of mine" as her ring-tone on her phone and I am just fed up of hearing it ring every five minutes - blimey she can waffle.

I only listen to non-commercial radio stations, because adverts really get on my wick!!

Smooth FM - isn't that Simon Bates FM?... he is always on when I have the pleasure (??) to hear it.
Can't do with him - ever since he played "Go West" by Pet Shop Boys six times in succession in his radio 2 days.
(Yes I used to have to listen to it at my previous job !!) :o

Dire Straits, Telegraph Road is something else on a good system. If you haven't heard it and you appreciate music then it's well worth a listen..... careful not to blow your speakers though as it is dynamically demanding!
