To Do List 2008:

Post by Envoy CDX »

Well, I've just been going through the things that I feel have to be done next year before I go somewhat insane..
The list is in no particular order, I can see my soldering iron taking a wobbly and packing up though.... :o

If anyone has any of the parts I may require can you please PM me with a price? Cheers

To Do List 2008:

Re-wire heated leather Seats
Wire in Electric Door Mirrors
Re-wire the rear drivers side electric window (as it will only go down and not back up from the console.)
Tidy up the rear arches
Replace under headlight panel
Touch up bonnet and remove stone chips / early rust stages
Tidy Paintwork
Install rear floor heaters
Install floor well lights
Install Kerb lights into the doors (front and rears)
Replaces all door hinge pins
Realign passenger side doors
Replace A Pillar Trim(s)
Clean up the head lining
Install sound deadening for floor, and relay carpets
Install all new bits of trim (inner sill trim, kick panels,)
Rub back, fill, and spray up rear lip spoiler for fitting
Pick up a set of alloys

It's been a bad year for getting stuff done on the Cav I guess.

Re-wire heated leather Seats - check and sold (pointless really wasn't it)
Wire in Electric Door Mirrors - still not done yet, but theres still a whole 6 weeks left! :)
Re-wire the rear drivers side electric window - still not looked ay
Tidy up the rear arches - erm, I havent had time with college and such :(
Replace under headlight panel - decided I'm going to knock the dent out and touch up the stone chips (cheaper, and easier)
Touch up bonnet and remove stone chips / early rust stages (cleaned out and packed with wax till after the new year now)
Tidy Paintwork - Cleaned up some of the blemishes, cut back the bodged repair jobs done earlier last year and this year - looks completely diffferent now)
Install rear floor heaters (require SRI blower installed - scrapped idea for now)
Install floor well lights - another unfufilled job
Install Kerb lights into the doors (front and rears) - got the kerblights, just need wiring in now :)
Replaces all door hinge pins - lost the hinge pins :(
Realign passenger side doors - as above
Replace A Pillar Trim(s) - will recover in the new year.
Clean up the head lining - steam cleaner job maybe.
Install sound deadening for floor, and relay carpets - not till i've fixed the leak completely.
Install all new bits of trim (inner sill trim, kick panels,) - getting there.
Rub back, fill, and spray up rear lip spoiler for fitting - not this side of new year :(
Pick up a set of alloys - done - 1st March 2008 - Corsa SXi alloys - rather fetching on the cav :)
