insurance question for the manc guys.

Post by droofer »

whats it like pricewise to insure a 2.0 cav in the manchester area? just that i remember in the 90's in manchester that they were the twocers car of choice, and if you had an m12 postcode like i did back then, not to even attempt to get a price.
theyn should come under a classic scheme now, surely?

I don't have a 2 litre,

However I have an 1800 at £250 p/a with Churchill (10 yrs NCB)

Our Vectra-C 19CDTi is only £350 p/a with Coverbox

Come under Manchester ... SK16 (Dukinfield), however when I moved from Denton (M34) in 1994... the Location weighting was unchanged. I only moved about 5 mies across the borough.

Wife moved from Gee Cross, Hyde, and her premiums went up sharply... not a happy bunny.

As long as you have reasonable security on the car, then premiums should not be too bad.

Just moved from atherton M46 where i payed £470 fully comp 6 year ncb, kept on the street.

New house in Westhoughton BL5 where its gone upto £550, kept IN AN ALARMED GARAGE ON A DRIVE WAY and immobilised.

The cheeky b*sterds charged me £77 to change my address.

It would of been cheaper to commit fraud.
