yeah loved it and i downloaded the new series came out last year in america realy good and just as enjoyable

i remember the old v and started watching the new one, but that woman who was the head of it all used to do my head in.

Hmmm, I was in my early teens when the original series was on... remember very little about it apart from oddly coloured alien blood.

All I can remember is the actor who played the quiet friendly alien later featured / starred in Nightmare on Elm Street.
Actors name is something "Englund" iirc.
That's my total knowledge on the series.

Does that still class me as "Old Folk"

yes it does think i was aroun that age myself when it was on 1st time around,i remember mum and dad being hooked on it

I used to watch the original series, and liked it, but can't remember too much about it. Think I was a teenager too.

Am afraid to watch the new series in case it colours my memory of the old one.

ive got bang on 30 years to do, but by then it will probably be up to 80!
