got banned form asda

went shopping lastnight with the mrs to get some stuff for her birthday today etc

came out of asda and there was police every were one riot van blocking the exit n a t5 on the entrance

came over to my car and there was a copper n a store manager ther handing bans out ? wtf i thought

they said your a boy racer blah blah and all that crap and nomral shoppers cant park to go shoping,they stopped evry single car going out handing bans out

i said i been shopping and the searched my shopping cheeking the recept (spelling)

police got new powers now they reckon trying to stop people parking up etc

got banned for a year from any store?

our asda has ANPR readers on the way

If you were parked correctly and you have a receipt to prove you were shopping at that time and date, then write to Asda HQ and demand they lift their ban immediately as you had legitimate purpose to park in their car park, i.e to shop in their store!

If this is the heavy-handed manner that Asda treat their legitimate customers, then take your custom elsewhere, I'm sure that the staff will be really happy when staff cuts happen because the customers have all been driven away through bullying tactics of the management.

If you had been parked up in an inconsiderate place or disabled bay with your stereo blaring and drinking booze and generally being a PITA, then yes a ban is appropriate, but this sounds a bit OTT.

was parked in disabled bay as i am a badge holder i got a plated leg form a car crash 2 years ago whicj give me alot of greif etc

id been shopping for the bits for the g/fs birthday

going to back today and speak to manager and see if they left the bann if not il go else were to shop

i spend loads in there on xmas with drink n food not tha matters tho lol

they stopped every car on the way out and yes i think it is ott

Seriously though, if you were parked correctly and displaying, write to the HQ, send a copy of the letter, the receipts and the ban to the press and advise in the letter to the HQ thats what you've done too.
