i personally think it wont look that good but then i reckon its one of them things youve gotta try to know for sure an if youve got the spoiler then why not but in my opinion it would need a bit more than that like do the door handles the same colour code the top od the tail lights and boot trim the same black etc....

I don't think the value of the car would be affected to that extent. I really doubt it would look nice though.

Did you not know steven writes the parkers price guide?

Also what price was it before he fits the spoiler??

On a serious note though, i reckon if you carbon wrap it along with a few other bits then yeah it may look great, but just fitting a black one its going to look really odd.

Agreed value insurance has absolutely nothing to do with it? If I gold plate my car the value doesn't stay the same until I notify the insurer?

Cav's don't wear the whole black panel business very well. It, more often than not, looks like a chavmobile. Keep it the way Vauxhall intended and do subtle and tasteful mods.

I had an mk2 astra 1.6 SR that had the rear spoiler the same colour grey as the bumpers looked OK & the old mk2 escort RS 2000 's had black plastic spoilers on all the different coloured cars.
