Flipping heck, I'd be up for that!!! I'm into my WW2 history, don't suppose there's any old aircraft parked there at all? Would make for an awesome photo shoot. :D Always wanted to go to an old airfield... No speed limits ;)

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

RAF Deenethorpe

It's an old American Base that flew Boeing B17 Bombers mainly over Berlin...

The owner (a farmer of course) Currently hires it out to a Micro Lite club, this is on a part time basis.. I'm sure he would let us use it for a day or afternoon? Will ask if enough people think its a good idea?

Here's some info on it ..

I think it maybe a tall order to get the 'Sally B' to land there...

It's a good site to look around though if your into WWII airfields.. Relics of old buildings, residential huts etc still evident..

A nice long runway to 'floor' your motor on !!

You must have watched The Bill ;)

In my opinion, still the program with the most realistic car chases in it.

Being as its private land, sure lets do the scene ... Also, if anyone wants the 'blues n two's' experience, hop in the drivers seat, drive off and play :D

Sounds like an excellent idea. I'll bring along my camera equipment and my GoPro so we can do some on car filming. Be great to do different set ups involving the police car and general club car layouts.
