How far can you go on a tank of petrol?

I am getting about 500 miles out of my V6 Cavalier. Averaging about 35 mpg.

i did hull to bristol in my old astramax van a few years ago on £15 diesel.and still had a bit left over.good mileage there mate.newcastle is quite a way up from hull aint it??

500 miles a tank is not 35mpg mate, if you are getting 35mpg you are talking 380ish if that

well this week i put £25 in(ooooohhhh big spender.hahaha)and so far iv done 330 miles and im just under quarter of a tank now.was very close to empty when i put it in.i am never gettin rid of me cav.saves me a fortune.

best ive ever done is oldham to dagenham(east london) there and back on 1 tank. said i did 461 miles on trip to 52 litres of fuel as i filled up when i got back.

lately did 406 miles to 54 litres though i was heavy footed.

this is in my 175bhp cav sri 16v redtop

Havent had a chance to test this car, but my 2.2d renault laguna estate (the really slow non turbo one lol) just got 610 miles out of the last tank, about 400 where motorway miles though.
