Good old astraGreig Sri wrote:It was the coldest night of the winter last night going by what the TV said this morning. Well at 8am this morning it was -12 c here , so how cold did you lot have?
My 2 year old work van took a lot of cranking and heating the plugs to get it going, but the Astra only had 3 heats on the glow plugs and started with no problems.![]()

Re: Snow!!!!!!!
The out side temp was up to 1c this afternoon. I started up the Cav and got it all warmed up.So I could get the snow off it. The snow on the roof was about 8" thick, but ive got it all off. The car will be going no ware tho as the snow is piled up around it, also the ruts in the snow/ice on the road are to deep for the Cav to clear .Plus I dont want it covered in road salt.
Its also started snowing again as soon I turned the Cav off. The snow has been lying here 3 weeks today now. Im sick of the stuff

Got as high as -2 today then started dropping again. I'm off to work in 40 minutes and not looking forward to it.
Currently wrapped up tighter than a nuns... well you know where this is going - and I'm doors too!
Cav's off the road for the minute so borrowing my dads Astra tonight - fun.

Re: Snow!!!!!!!
been using our H reg cav in the snow as it holds the road far better than our horrible zafira. im dreading the affectr this will have on rear arches though as rust just starting to bubble. they are wicked and loads better than the vectra.
