I agree, you already have cleaned up heatsheld etc. Just clean the plastics and spray the vynl stuff on, and it'll look good as new.

Maybe Stainless camcover bolts. Thats what I put on mine. Looked nice.

after seeing everyone else's at PVs squig it DOES look scruffy hun
Have to get some elbow grease on it when the weather improves, as usual its pissing down again

need summat to get the muck off really and the battery cover sounds like a cool idea. Have looked for blue hoses but there arent many about for the Ecotec. Anyone no someone who stocks them? all i can find are the coolant ones or is that all there is??

Pirtek.... http://www.pirtek.co.uk/

they'll make any size, length, color, shape you want.

it'll be a more expensive price to pay, but at the end of the day your getting custom made hoses.
And they are going to be made to with-stand hydrolic pressures, so they last forever.

i have a 200°C steam cleaner at work, use it for steam cleaning bus engines.
It doesn't really leave any damp due to the heat, but it does wreck some leads and small wires.

I might be able to get you into work to do ur engine on a weekend, pref sunday as all the buses are in and no managers around.

i have a strute brace spare, but it doesn't fit the top of my struts... the clamp or whatever its name is, is too big to clamp onto the struts.
Its a sparco polished ali, its used but in good nick. Got it from ebay, but i think its for a vectra B onwards.

I'll take a few pics next time i get the cav out the lock up.
