Never clean you greasy car stuff in the garden oops.

Post by cavaliersri130 »

Right I made a big mistake today I decided to clean my wheel in the back garden right next to my door, big mistake I got oil everywhere and i then didn't realise that I had oil on the bottoms of my boots :-? I walked up stairs got oil on every step oops, I then vaxed the stairs to get the oil out and mopped my floors.
I then cleaned the garden well I thought I did, let my dogs out and they walked in to the kitchen black floor prints everywhere, cleaned my garden again let the dogs out and they again got oily foot prints everywhere, so i cleaned the garden again just waiting to see now if its worked.
Suffice to say my other half is not in a good mood.

I owe my misses new carpets. I bought her a carpet cleaner instead, she was happy with that.

Is my misses weird or is it me lol

Not oil but did sumin similar at my other halfs....

Decided to tint my rear lights on the work top in the kitchen, put down about 5 or 6 layers of newspaper but still seaped through, can imagine how many different cleaning products I used to get it off.

She came in and went mental then got out some cleaning stuff I hadnt seen and it came straight off, lesson learned though I tell you.
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

I done something similar with oil breather hoses. Decided to give them a good scrub, at the same time covering myself and the wall of the house in black dots  Just do it over a drain, that's what I do. If it's really messy, pick the most hidden bush you can find and chuck it behind there

I used to get stuff like that on my kitchen sides all the time when I was with my ex. Since we split up about the worst I've had is a complete motorcycle in pieces in my living room.

(Edit: One of these, if anyone's interested. In black. Never did get it finished :( )

I rattle canned a bonnet in my dads kitchen. For some reason i didn't put any paper down. Everything went black, cupboards, floor, white goods, pans etc all had a light misting of black! I also washed an entire moped engine case and transmission in the dishwasher. Came out lovely :thumb The benefits of living at home!!

Lmfao my other half is still abit pissed as I'm still getting the odd bit of grease here and there, and still finding bits on doors and floors.
